The first concrete truck was supposed to arrive five minutes ago, so we're taking off work and heading over to the house to check things out and make sure things are going all right. We'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow.
Shawn is calling the plumber to let him know the basement is being poured today, so hopefully he can come out soon to get the piping under the slab done, and we can then install the floor insulation and radiant pipe so the floor slab can be poured. We also need the framer to come out to set the sill plate, and the truss supplier can then come out and measure that sill plate so the trusses are ordered to right dimensions.
Thanks to all who helped us get that basement ready. We wouldn't be here without your help!
Hopefully it will all be good news tomorrow. We pray for the safety of the workers, and for the pour to go on without a hitch.
