There was a little delay on Monday due to rain, but the Excavator started around 10 a.m. Today they will finish the basement dig, and Bill, our foundation contractor will begin to lay the footings.

You can see the building inspector doing his
evaluation. The local feline population had to check out the site. They were very enthusiastic about all of the fresh loose dirt. Very easy to dig.
